Frankie Knuckles
Frankie Knuckles è nato il 18 gennaio del 1955 soprannominato “the godfather of house music” ha studiato design tessile a Manhattan dove ha iniziato a fare il dj , mixando brani r’n’b e soul al Better Days e al The Gallery con Larry Levan. Quando nel 1977 a Chicago apre il Warhouse a Frankie viene chiesto di offrire i suoi servigi regolarmente al club e lo farà fino al 1982. The godfather inizia a puntare lo sguardo New York dove è ospite del Power Plant più tardi nell’89 produce “Tears” e fonda la Def-Mix con David Morales e la sua manager.
